Hello,
I just tried this mod yesterday and I have one quick question:
I feel like crawling in town or in the dungeon. The walking/running speed has been modified to a lower value than vanilla D2 ?
The mod seems quiete promising but it's so slow just to get to Adria...
I remember that the V&K mod for D1 actually vastly increased the movement in town. Could we have something like this ?
Thx,
W.

Yes, character speeds have been modified and yes, Bard is fastest of them all. Warzen, are you playing a Sorcerer? He's the slowest character After all, he's only an old guy who has spent his life reading books and training spells, you can't expect him to be running fast and for long

I havent found books of increased Speed for the Bard yet, but i thing together with frenzy you run like a flash then, so even when you are going you might be faster than other chars wich are running...?

In D1 hellfire did that as well. D2, I would assume, can't allow town characters to run faster and then run slower in the dungeons. I could be wrong. The whole point isn't so much to make it tough in town as it is to make fast monsters a challenge. You can't run as quickly and need to be carefull, use tactical awareness to survive.

Yes, I was playing a sorcerer and his speed is really slow !
It takes along time just to go through the dungeon...
I guess I need to test another class.
Thanks for the feedback,
W.

hmm so wich is the correct order of speed from fast to slow?
A Bard as the fastest class? Doesnt she only sit an play and sing? Rouge and Barb should be the fastest imho, maybe the monk cause he certainly had a hard traning in his home monastry.
Rouge>Monk>Barb>Bard>Sorc

Bard is fastest, because she deals lowest damage and she has to make up for it. Also, Bard is a melee character, while Rogue is ranged. Making Rogue as fast as the Bard would only make it too easy running away from monsters and killing them from distance. While Bard, fast or not, still needs to go melee against them.

Yes i understand your concept, its just how you explained the sorc, so someone who sings alot cant have the samina like someone hwo sneaks and runns alot.
